The scheduler for weight management was rude, inconsiderate and combative both times I tried to make an appointment. I responded in kind. Catching an attitude with me because I misheard something; "Well, you spoke with me, and I document everything.", is not an appropriate response. Telling me I need to receive information from my insurance that ONLY MY PCP can give them/me didnt make sense either. She then told me i needed a referral from my pcp, which I had. (Come to find out she closed the referral.) My insurance was confused about this as well. I'm disgusted and disappointed Scripps employed someone with such poor customer service skills. As if making an appointment for something sensitive wasn't hard enough, I basically had to be berated for trying to make an appointment "without all the proper approvals, referrals, and authorizations".
